Just shocking wouldn't do anything as we've seen Goku handle this easily in the 21st. I doubt he'd be able to repeatedly take Killua's attacks repeatedly as he was close to dying and Killua packs a much much higher voltage than Roshi. Speed-wise Killua is also much faster, so I'd give Killua an even shot at this battle.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Putting them in a different series you can't really call Goku or Piccolo or anyone from DB ever a genius, by example people in other series are obviously far smarter. Shikamaru in Naruto is a genius, Goku being in Narutoverse wouldn't put them on the same level, Goku can't devise over 200 strategies to beat somebody stronger than him. Genius is just a word if it's used to describe a character, without anything to show for it. Goku and Piccolo are fighting genius compared to other DB characters but half of them forget they can fly or don't move away from obvious attacks. Godspeed does have a time limit but it's doubtful he can only use it once a day, maybe he has to wait like a minute or 30 seconds before his body recovers(at this point in the series that's a long time) he's still just as fast as Goku and Piccolo without it. And Youpi is stated 10x stronger than him yet he could damage him and could move faster than Youpi could react. Not like that was a serious fight either Killua was just blowing off steam as he said, it was just to distract Youpi for a while really. Plus he had to reserve his energy for the fight he's supposed to have. How is he not as strong as them? He doesn't fire mountain busting attacks but that doesn't mean he's not as strong HxH just isn't about that only a few characters have anything of a blast type attack.

Goku alone observes his opponent to find flaws and take advantage of em. Not saying the Nara's not smart, but Goku will already have plenty of ways to win.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Well no, Shikamaru would get slaughtered because he's so weak in comparison but if they were at equal strengths he should be able to, the only thing giving Goku an advantage is that he's a Saiyan and gets many plot conveniences. DB characters just aren't all that in the brain department genius to them is like average to other series, Goku is only better than everyone else because he needs some way to win because realistically he wouldn't. Actually that's another thing, Killua could take advantage of Goku's stupidity here, it would be obvious Goku doesn't just kill people he fights unless he has to so Killua could play the scared kid part and get the drop on him, exactly like what happens with Raditz later on. So Goku is definitely the easier target here.

Granted Piccolo doesnt retort to the kid, and Piccolo is less forgiving at this point in time.

Shiki would crush anyone at equal PLs and abilities with possible exceptions like L or Kira from Death Note.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Yeah intelligence lets you deconstruct your opponents fighting style and both Piccolo and Goku's are extremely basic, as Roshi said about the Turtle Hermit style there's nothing special about the style it's the training that makes it good. Piccolo never really showed anything exceptional either other than that he was equal to Goku in skill. Killua is a lot more level headed in battle too he fights and works out everything where Piccolo gets angry and blows stuff up and Goku lets people reach their maximum before he uses his. Nen is scary too it can just break people if they're not defended they can feel their opponents intent to kill, even Killua who's fought thousands of fights and killed thousands of people had his hair stand on end and was forced to jump to the back of the room when he felt it. Ki is never used to that same effect you can't place an intent on it and make the target scared s***less people just get scared if someone is more powerful than them. In their fully powered up state Goku and Piccolo should be defended against it but at the start of the battle neither of them would be there yet, especially not Goku he takes forever to get serious where Nen doesn't really require a few second power up.
